The Sanctuary covers 87,500 km

Marine Protected Area (MPA) in
the Mediterranean and the only
international MPA dedicated to
ANGUILLA ST-BARTHELEMY protecting marine mammals.

a surface area of 143,256 km . It is

governed by 53 local Ocean bodies.
