MONACO SCIENTIFIC CENTRE
The Monaco Scientific Centre (CSM) is an autonomous public Monegasque institution created in 1960
by Prince Rainier III. Its aim: to give Monaco the means to carry out scientific research and support the
action of government and international organisations responsible for protecting and conserving marine
life. The Centre attracts candidates from all over the world: since its move to new headquarters at Quai
Antoine Ier in 2013, more than 50 specialists have arrived from 15 countries (Europe, the USA, Japan,
Australia, New Zealand, Palau, Brazil, the Caribbean, Canada, Oman, Saudi Arabia...).

THE YACHT CLUB OF MONACO
Founded in 1953 by Prince Rainier and chaired since 1984 by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, the
Monaco Yacht Club has 1,200 members from 60 nationalities. Home to some of the most prestigious
private yachts in the world, the YCM now enjoys a unique position in the world of international yachting
and sailing.

MONACO TOWN HALL
The Town Hall is the oldest institution in Monaco, with over 650 people working in 19 municipal
departments, in areas of expertise like the Environment and Sustainable Development. Deeply mindful
of the environment, based on guidelines given by HSH Prince Albert II, the Monaco Town Hall has been
committed to protecting the environment for many years; a commitment which is reflected in tangible
and sustainable actions in the Principality.
