IMPACTS
Many ocean initiatives were created thanks to the event and the networking.
Key commitments were sealed over the years, such as the Monaco Manifesto for the Ocean,
the Sanctuary Pelagos headquarters’ agreement or the Natural Marine World Heritage in the
Arctic Ocean publication’s launch.
In 2024, a series of events were organised in preparation for the United Nations Ocean
Conference (UNOC) 2025.
